The Battle of the Somme

This battle took place in the southern part of British line. It was the bloodiest war ever in which the Allies demonstrated how important were to have the most modernist machine guns. With its machine guns any country would demonstrate their power and take over other countries easily. The purpose of this battle was to draw German forces away from the battle of Verdun. So on July 1st of 1916 German lost about 57,000 causality and 19,000 dead. Even Hitler and other German leaders participated in this horrible and bloody war ever.

This battle was appointed by General Sir Douglas Haig. He had military experiences so he was the right person to conduct it. His plan was to take off the pressure of the allied French at Verdun. In this battle the British troops were force to return to their trenches due to attack of machine guns. French bombardment last for eight days without stopping in the German lines their ideas were to destroy the entire forward defense to take possession of German lines. So during the British and French attack they had gained 12 kilometers of ground.

The outcome of the war affect and damage many countries. As a result, many poor and innocent people died.

Washington, he is against imperialism because of imperialism his people lost his liberty and identity, because one day, Europeans took away Africans, and indigenous’ culture, and life style. He and his people did not enjoy of a pure liberty and human right because of their skin color. Black people onto the eyes of white were view as inhuman, brutal and wild. They were obligate to live into a submit life of slavery. Even thought, the Negro faced death and defenses the honor of the country and humanity in the time of the Union and the Spanish war. They still did not enjoy of the many benefits as white people did. They still were oppressed by the power of white people.
